PREPARATION

A complete bed bug treatment is considered Two Full Treatments 10-21 days apart.

  • It is imperative that the 2nd treatment be completed in order for the treatment to be effective.

  • It is important to complete all the preparations to the entire property as detailed prior to our technicians arrival to ensure accuracy and safety.

  • Following the Treatment do mop or wash within 4 inches of the baseboard areas for approximately 3 week following the treatment.

Removal all Item
  • Fruits, Veggies, Breads, Pet Food
    (safe place to keep: fridge, stove, cabinet)

  • Personal Items: medication, toothbrushes, cosmetics, valuables, etc.

  • Medical Equipment

  • Cover fish tanks, remove pet dishes

Fabric Laundering 

Item to be laundering in dryer for 30-45 mins on high heat cycle before or after treatment. Item must be secured in clean garbage bags before treatment. Washing items is okay.

  • Bed sheets, pillow cases, bed skirts etc.

  • All item from dressers, and underneath or next to bedding areas.

  • Clothing in closets can remain, aslong as full access to floor of closet.

Furniture Moving

Slightly move furniture at least a few inches away from the wall, allowing our technicians access to perimeter. Suggested 3-12 inches, open areas like desk may not require moving.

Clear the Clutter

To ensure a safe treatment it is important to:

  • Remove all clutter off floors and away from walls.

  • Vacuum all floor areas including baseboards, and furnitures.

  • Remove item from side tables, and under bed storage.

Bed Prep

  • To help reduce activity prior to treatment we suggest to thoroughly vacuum infected mattresses, box springs, frames and surround areas. 

  • We recommend not to discard bedding item before treatment. Such actions can spread the infestation. Our technicans can assist you removing these item.

Evacuation

  • After treatment all tenants and pet must evacuate premise approximately 3-6 hours.

  • In the case of pregnancy, elderly, respiratory or medical issues we recommend evacuation upon 24 hours.
